“My intention is to help you release the shame and trauma you’ve been carrying, reconnect with your true self, and rediscover the freedom to live fully.”
~ Krista
About Krista
When I rewired the beliefs that had been holding me back, I found freedom I never thought possible. I built Arukah Counseling to help clients do the same — reveal old patterns, release trauma and shame, and reclaim themselves to empower lasting change
What I Believe
Empathetic Empowerment 🌿 You don’t have to stay stuck; healing and lasting transformation are possible.
Whole-Person Healing 🌿 Mind, body and spirit are connected, so we honor all of you.
Integrity + Honesty 🌿 You deserve authenticity, trust, and a safe place to heal.
Collaborative Transformation 🌿 Healing happens in partnership.
For over a decade…
I’ve walked alongside clients carrying grief, shame, and trauma, helping them release what no longer serves them and rediscover their true selves.
Growing up as a peacekeeper, I learned to quiet my needs to make room for others' first. Everything changed when I discovered I didn’t have to earn love or prove my worth. That freedom fuels my work today – helping others break free from shame and reclaim wholeness.

Krista believes play and creativity are essential.
She finds joy in imaginative play with her children, game nights with her husband and friends, playing with her dog Albus, dancing in the kitchen, and yes… a strong cup of coffee. Her faith also grounds her in hope and perspective, inspiring the compassion she brings to her work.
At Arukah Counseling, healing isn’t about endless therapy – it’s about lasting transformation and reclaiming your whole self.
